Teaching Philosophy
Congratulations on taking this very important step to develop your voice, and for trusting me to take that step with you. Lessons are a safe place to learn, step outside the box, make mistakes, and most importantly, have fun. As a voice teacher, it is my responsibility to be your guide through technical exercises, song work, and a variety of genres with the primary goal of instilling confidence, no matter the demands of the repertoire.
In lessons, we’ll cover exercises that strengthen the voice in all parts of the range. We’ll also discuss how to approach songs of different genres. No matter the genre, we’ll also learn how to care for the voice, whether you’re singing, or speaking. Lessons are designed to serve you and your goals, whether that be to belt out a rock song, or soar over an orchestra. Maybe even both! All genres, all interests, and all students are always welcome.

For weekly lessons:
30 minutes: $50
45 minutes: $75
60 minutes: $90
For one-off lessons
30 minutes: $60

I accept Venmo, Zelle, cash, or check.
Payment is due in full before the start time of each lesson.

I teach both in person and online via Zoom or Apple Facetime. In person location details will be shared upon lesson registration.

In lessons, we will work on warm up exercises to address things like range extension, breathing, different registers, and genre-specific sounds. We will also work on songs that align with your personal goals and interests. These lessons are meant to serve YOU, so regardless of genres, goals, or interests, let’s tackle it together! :)
